JuliAnna Jelinek serves as Executive Director of The Arbor School. Previous to assuming this role, she served as The Arbor’s Chief Development Officer for two years. As Executive Director, Ms. Jelinek is responsible for overall management of The Arbor including operations, brand management, business development, and public engagement. Prior to joining The Arbor, Ms. Jelinek spent over seven years in business development and fundraising for public policy and advocacy groups in Arizona, California, and Washington D.C.
Tricia Bingham serves as Director of Education at The Arbor School. Previous to assuming this role, she served as a Lead Teacher for The Arbor for three years. As Director of Education, Ms. Brinks is responsible for leading the teaching staff and implementing best practices in curriculum and education programs at The Arbor. Ms. Brinks has her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and has over eleven years of teaching experience with children with special needs. Ms. Brinks is also certified in assistive technology for children with special needs and brings with her ten years of experience in working with children with devices for communication.
Emily Grichuk serves as the Development Associate at The Arbor School. In this position, Ms. Grichuk assists in cultivating donor relations, planning special events, writing grant proposals, and developing digital and print materials. Prior to joining The Arbor, she spent over three years working in education and customer relation offices. Ms. Grichuk brings with her a passion for the special needs community and a readiness to cultivate strong relationships with the friends and families of The Arbor.
Terry Pisano serves as Office Manager for The Arbor School. As Office Manager, Ms. Pisano is responsible for greeting guests, answering the telephones, and assisting with enrollment. She is also accountable for maintaining student and employee files, ordering supplies, payroll, and bookkeeping for the school. Ms. Pisano brings over 20 years of experience in record keeping for a family-based company and has her Applied Science Degree in Occupational Therapy where she provided treatment for children with special needs in a pediatric outpatient clinic.
All classrooms at The Arbor consist of a minimum of one Lead Teacher and two Assistant Teachers. Lead Teachers at The Arbor are required to have a minimum of a four-year degree in either Education or Psychology. Both Lead Teachers and Assistant teachers receive on-going and extensive training while employed at The Arbor.
