LEGACY GIVING

Planned gifts are a thoughtful way to provide for the future needs of The Arbor School and allow you to direct your legacy toward what is meaningful to you. Gifts may be unrestricted (to be used for the highest and best use at The Arbor when received) or restricted to a specific area where you wish to make an impact.

WAYS TO LEAVE A LEGACY INCLUDE:

An easy way to include The Arbor School in your legacy plans is to include a bequest in your will or trust. Bequests can be made both to individuals as well as nonprofit organizations, and can be made for a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or for the residual (remainder) of your estate.

To include The Arbor in your plans, we recommend you provide the following language to your attorney:

“I hereby give, devise, and bequeath (dollar amount, percentage, or specific asset) to The Arbor School, a nonprofit organization located at 1919 Knoll Street, Houston, TX 77080, Federal Tax ID #76-0317198, for the general use and purpose of The Arbor School.”

If you would like to restrict your bequest for a specific purpose, please contact Laurel Keller, Director of Development, at lkeller@arbor.org or (713) 322-7394 to discuss and ensure our organization is able to use your gift for the intended purpose.
